START PREPARING FOR ACTION

We're not quite there yet but it won't be long before we can take action on our lawns again. When soil temperatures hit 5 degrees celsius five days in a row, grass will grow. Ideal temperature for grass seed germination is 9-12 degrees celsius.

Whilst grass usually goes inert during the winter months, moss asserts its unwelcome authority. It will thrive and take over as there is nothing else growing to outcompete it. Now is the time that we tackle the moss and also condition the soil to prep the lawn for its Spring growth spurt. Get in touch with the Lawn Inspector if you want to banish moss.
